The client's brief requested a modern piece in keeping with an Adams period piece. The cabinet was designed for a bar on the left hand side and a music centre on the right hand side.

The interior structure was supported with steel and painted in celladine. The hinge system was designed to be on the inside of the cabinets in order to achieve the seamless effect. The doors were made from brass and hand beaten into the classical shape and then silver plated.

The interior hinge areas were decorated with etchings of the client's initials. The top of the cabinet is made of Moroccan fossil marble. The exterior seamlessly blends into the room.
